Need your help

I have a friend who just moved to Vancouver and needs to find a place: apartment or basement suite that will allow dogs. he's training in Surrey (right near the law office in Newton). He only needs 1 bedroom and has one dog. he's been looking, but doesn't really know the area and he is already studying to be an Air Traffic Controller. If you know of any places that he might be interested in let me know.
